January Love List

A list of things most loved from our GS&NS Editor, a habitual list maker.

I can't be the only one that begs for January's end. I crave spring. Here's what has been getting me through:

1. READ

Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert

You're a human with exceptional creative ability and that's why you need to read this book.
Also, it's January and maybe you're feeling a little uninspired. Read this book, please.

A Lovely Quote:

Creativity is sacred, and it is not sacred. What we make matters enormously, and it doesn't matter all. We toil alone, and we are accompanied by spirits. We are terrified, and we are brave. Art is a crushing chore and a wonderful privilege. The work wants to be made, and it wants to be made through you.
(From Big Magic)

2. WRITE

Imma be real literal with this one. What does one literally write with?

I recently re-purchased a big pack of multicolored G2 pens. YASSSS
These beauties definitely help me put pen to page.

Also, G2 pens instantly transport me to my high school debate days and failing miserably at the infamous pen twirl:

3. WATCH

Go see The Big Short in theaters right now.

Which means that tomorrow you can start Making A Murderer on Netflix.

You're welcome.

4. LISTEN

All of Adele's new album. I'm technically kind of late to this party but she's worth mentioning over and over again.

I love you forever, Adele.

5. TASTE

All of the chai tea. All of it.
But especially this kind:

So that's what I've been loving, lovelies. How about you?
